Meet the team
Chance made us colleagues. Fun & laughter made us friends.
Mia
I started my accounting career in practice, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of clients. Balancing the challenges of home study as a single working mum, along with real-world learning, gave me a strong foundation to build on. I’m proud to be FMAAT qualified, a milestone that reflects my dedication to my profession.
My path hasn’t always been easy. In school, I struggled with learning and focusing, which made it hard to succeed in a traditional academic environment. Because of this, I know how it feels to want clear, straightforward answers and support. That experience drives me to make accounting accessible and understandable for my clients.
After having my second child, I took a leap of faith and became self-employed. As my business grew, I transitioned it into a Limited company. Finding a balance between work and life wasn’t easy, but through hard work and determination, I’ve reached a point where I’m proud of that balance—though I’m always learning and improving. My journey has taught me invaluable lessons in both business and life, and I’m excited to share those insights to help you grow your business with confidence and clarity.

I enjoy reading funny books like Terry Pratchett’s, as well as books on mindset and productivity.
I’m just getting into meditation and finding it surprisingly calming.
I love a good laugh, and I’m generally very patient.
I believe life’s too short to spend time with people you don’t click with, so I surround myself with people who lift me up and make life fun.
Lee
I joined Mia’s team in the summer of 2020 and have since built a strong foundation in accounting. I’m proud to have earned my AATQB certification, which has equipped me with the essential skills to keep financial records accurate and up-to-date. I’m also just one step away from completing my diploma—a milestone I look forward to achieving!
Alongside my qualifications, I’ve gained hands-on experience with industry-leading accounting software like QuickBooks and Xero. This has been invaluable in helping me manage a variety of financial tasks, from invoicing and payroll to financial reporting.
What I enjoy most about my work is helping people. Whether guiding clients through their financial situations or solving a tricky accounting issue, I find it incredibly rewarding to provide support and clarity. I also love diving into complex problems to find the right solution.
